| My son Nathan's friend dropped a can of veggies on his big toe and the toenail turned black and eventually fell off. Nathan was privy to this event and was rather upset. A couple of days later he was in the living room building houses with his lego blocks. I was in the kitchen cleaning the cupboards when he came to me with a very worried look on his face. He said to me "Mom, if I dropped a house on my foot would my foot fall off?" being a little distracted I didnt put two and two together and I replied "I would imagine so". He immediately started crying. I eventually figured it out and thus reassured him that his lego building could not possibly cause any damage to his foot. |
