    My son, Noah, had been asking questions about dating lately.  My husband and I explained that you need to put a lot of prayer and thought into it in order to make a good choice.  Noah pondered this and then quipped "Well, I think I'll wait until after I get married to start dating then."

    Bible hero Noah, (from the Ark), was the namesake inspiration for our son's name, and he's very familiar with the story. We went to look at Christmas lights in Charleston, and they had a huge display of Noah, the Ark, and several animals, but Noah's wife was not included in the light display. Our son looked around worriedly, waving his hands and asking, Where's my wife? Where's my wife?"

    We've been trying to teach our kids the importance of dressing modestly. So when Isabella recently saw a teenage girl with a short tight, tank top, belly button ring, and low-riding jean I expected her to voice her disapproval.  Instead Isabella shook her head and whispered to me, "Wow, Mommy that poor girl couldn' even afford to buy the rest of her outfit."
