After picking my son up from Sunday School, he announced "Mom, I can tell you what the 10 Commandments are." With pride I asked "OK, what are they?" My son answered "They're stone."

At Sunday School, I asked the students how God created the earth. A student replied "In the beginning which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness and some gas." Impressed I asked "And does the bible say anything else?" Thinking for a moment, the student replied "The Bible also says the Lord thy God is one. But I happen to think he must be a lot older than that."

One of my students came late to Sunday school class. He was usually very prompt so I asked him if anything was wrong. He replied that he had planned to go fishing, but his dad told him that he needed to go to church instead. I was impressed and asked the boy if his father had explained to him why it was more important to go to church than to go fishing. To which the student replied "Yes, he did. My dad said that he didn't have enough bait for both of us."

Lani and I were in the car when she asked "Dad where is God?" I replied confidently thinking this would be easy to answer "God is everywhere and in all things." Not satisfied, she continued "Is God in the trees, car and my rubber bracelet too?" Exasperated I replied "Yes, yes and yes." After thinking a moment, Lani took off her bracelet and agressively stretched it in all directions. She then asked "Does God mind when I do this to him." I was speechless.
