We were driving when we passed by five police cars in front of a house on our street.  I said to my daughter "Look at all those polics cars near our home."  Unexpectedly, she replied "I guess Dunkin Donuts is empty tonight.

After telling my daughter about the TV show Gilligan's Island, I said she was more Maryann and less Ginger.  So she would understand, I showed her an episode online. After she watched a short clip, I asked which one she would like to be, Maryann or Ginger. Unexpectedly, she replied "Mrs. Howell."

"What do you call an animal that eats just meat?" I asked.  "A carnivore" my daughter said.  "What about an animal that eats just plants?" I quizzed her.  "A herbivore" she replied.  "Now what do you call an animal that eats both?" I asked.  Confident she knew the answer, my daughter replied "A Bothivore of course."
