    Tony was staying at his grandmother's for a few days.  He'd been playing outside with some neighborhood kids for awhile when he came into the house and asked "Grandma, what's that called when two people sleep in the same room and one is on top of the other?"  Grandma was a little taken aback, but decided to tell the truth and said "It's called sexual intercourse."  Tony replied "OK" and went back outside to play with the other kids.  A few minutes later, he came back in and said angrily "Grandma, it isn't called sexual intercourse.  It's called bunk beds... and Jimmy's mom wants to talk to you."

    I was pregnant with my second child. I was midway through the pregnancy when I let my six year-old, Tommy, feel the baby moving in my tummy.  He acted unimpressed and didn't say much.  A few days later, Tommy's teacher took me aside and said she had asked Tommy "Whatever has become of that baby brother or sister you're expecting."  Bursting into tears he replied "I think Mommy ate him."

    The only thing worse than having to have "The Sex Talk" with your child is having your twelve year old tell you she has already given "The Talk" to her younger sister.  "Why did you do that?" I asked my older daughter, Hannah.  "Well Bella's friends were passing along the wrong information... so I performed a public service."  "What did you tell her?" I asked tentatively. "I told her when you find a boy you like you should have sex with him... in a bedroom, or in a car, or in the back bathroom of a bar."  Let this be a warning to other parents never let your older child give the "Sex Talk" to your younger one.

    My daughter is the youngest of four children, so I had some experience giving the "Sex Talk."  When it came time to have "The Talk," I thought I did a great job of sitting her down and explaining all the details about having sex... that was until she said with a horrified look on her face "You mean you did that four times?"
