Chandlar, 8 - USA

I had a conversation with my son, Chandlar, recently about death. Chandlar said " I don't want to be cremated when I die." Not sure where this was going, I repied "Okay." He continued "What about you?" Thinking... wow am I actually having this conversation now, I decided to be practical and responded "I want to be cremated so you won't have to spend as much money on me." My son replied reassuringly "Don't worry about it. I'll be a millionaire from my job chasing tornadoes by then. I'll be a hot shot meteorologist, so I'll be able to afford not to cremate you."

My 5 year old hit his foot on one of his puzzles. Here's the conversation that unfolded: I said "Oh no, I'll kiss it." I pick him up, put him in bed, and I proceed to kiss his foot. My son responds "No Mommy this one." So I kiss the other one and say "There, all better?" He replies, "No it's still stinky."
